Ratchaburi’s Kevin Deeromram called up to Rajevac’s Thailand squad

Ratchaburi Mitr Phol’s left-back Kevin Deeromram, 19, has been called up to Rajevac’s first 35-man Thailand squad.

The Thai-Swede youngster joined Ratchaburi in January this year and has already impressed in his 8 matches so far.

Kevin Deeromram was born in Stockholm to a Swedish father and Thai mother who is of Buriram heritage.

Deeromram was developed at Swede club Djurgårdens IF and spent three years at the club.

During that time he was loaned to SV Werder Bremen in Germany from 1 February until 31 December 2015. He made 9 appearances for Weder Bremen II, scoring 1 goal.

Talking to SiamSport, Deeromram said he cherished the opportunity to represent Thailand.

“It was a surprise. But it is my dream already to play for the Thai national team. This is my mother’s country and I want to do my best.”

Puttinun Wannasri, Mika Chunuonsee, Sanrawat Dechmitr, Anthony Ampaipitakwong, Pokklaw A-nan and Teeratep Winothai are also confirmed by their parent club Bangkok United FC to be in 35-man Thailand squad.

However, there was no place in the provisional squad for Port’s Tana, Chonburi’s Kroekrit or Suphanburi’s Chappuis.

The War Elephants will play a friendly game against Uzbekistan on 6 June.

The already-eliminated Thailand will face the United Arab Emirates in the 2018 World Cup qualifiers a week after.
