Chan Vathanaka interested in joining an Indonesian club in the future

Cambodian forward Chan Vathanaka has recently hinted the possibility of joining the Indonesia Liga 1 in the future.

While answering questions from fans on his Facebook page, Vathanaka said that “one day” he will make the move.

The club mentioned by fans was Semen Padang FC, but whether a transfer materialises in the future or not remains unseen.

Vathanaka is currently on loan at J3 League outfit Fujieda MYFC. So far the 23-year-old has made 3 appearances from the bench for his new club.

Vathanaka is considered one of the brightest football prospect of Cambodia in the recent years. Ever since he joined  Boeung Ket Angkor in 2012, Vathanaka has netted 116 goals in just 90 appearances.
