AFC Champions League: Kashima Antlers win Group E, FC Seoul edge Urawa Reds

In Group F, FC Seoul picked up a 1-0 victory over the Urawa Red Diamonds at the Seoul World Cup Stadium.

Academy graduate Yoon Seung-won scored the only goal of the game.

Meanwhile, Western Sydney Wanderers capped off their 2017 AFC Champions League campaign with a 3-2 win over Shanghai SIPG.

Wu Lei opened the score after just 2 minutes of play, but the Australian side fought back superbly with goals from Jumpei Kusukami (3′) and Steven Lustica (6′) gave them the lead.

Elkeson converted a spot kick to equalise for the visitors in the 23rd minute, but a late goal from Jaushua Sorito ensure the three points remain at the Campbelltown Sports Stadium.

After today’s results, Urawa Red Diamonds won the group with 12 points followed by Shanghai SIPG with 12 points but inferior goal difference.

FC Seoul and Western Sydney Wanderers share the third and fourth spot with 6 points apiece.
