Recognized for his creative passing and set-piece taking ability, Totchtawan Sripan is considered one of the greatest midfielders in Thailand.

He played for the War Elephants for 16 years, winning 110 caps and scoring 19 goals.

Totchtawan enjoyed a silverware-laden career with the national team, winning four consecutive SEA Games (1993, 1995, 1997, 1999), three AFF Championship (1996, 2000, 2002), as well as finishing fourth twice at the Asian Cup in 1998 and 2002.
