Indonesian side Sriwijaya FC have signed former Inter midfielder Tijani Belaid as their marquee player for the 2017 Liga 1 season.
The the capture of French-born Tunisian international was announced by Laskar Wong Kito’s president Dodi Reza Alex on Wednesday.
“After doing some filtering [on several names], finally we are pleased to announce the deal which made SFC sign an additional player to fill our marquee quota,” Reza Alex told reporters.
Belaid arrives from Greece Super League outfit Veria on a one-year deal, where he spent a six-month playing time since joining the club in January.
The 29-year-old has also been a member of PSV Eindhoven, Slavia Prague, Hull City, APOEL, Union Berlin, Moreirense, Lokomotiv Plovdiv, Club Africain and CS Sfaxien in the past.
