Five most successful head coaches of Thailand national team

1. Peter Withe (1998-2003)

The much-travelled Englishman propelled Thailand to success at the turn of the 21st century.

The former Aston Villa striker led Thailand to two consecutive fourth-place finish at the 1998 and 2002 Asian Games, as well as winning the gold medal at the 1999 SEA Games.

The highlight of Withe’s managerial stint with Thailand was the back-to-back AFF Championship victories in 2000 and 2002, a feat that has only been matched by Kiatisuk Senamuang.
