Carlos Santos, captain of Ratchaburi FC, could be out of action for the rest of the season after sustaining a serious injury.
The 32-year-old centre-back damaged his knee during a warm-up game in a training session last week. Santos collapsed on the field and the injury looked rather serious.
Carlos Santos has been ever-present for The Dragons this season, starting all six games in Thai League. He scored once and got one assist after 540 minutes of game time.
Carlos Santos joined Ratchaburi FC in January 2016 and becomes an integral part of The Dragons’ defence.
The 2016 Thai FA Cup winners are currently 7th on the table. The Western Thai side will return to Thai League atcion on Monday, April 3 when they visit Chonburi.
