7. Shaun Maloney
Maloney was born in Sarawak, Malaysia to British parents before his family moving back to Scotland when he was five years old.
The 34-year-old attacking midfielder, who currently plays for Hull City, admitted that he had a chance to play for his birth nation, Malaysia, but never got any contacts from them.
Maloney’s most famous stints were at Scottish club Celtic, where he played for 11 seasons, making 215 appearances and scoring 52 goals. He has also played for former Premier League sides Aston Villa and Wigan Athletic, as well as spending 8 months in the United States with Chicago Fire.
