Young striker Sittichok Phaso made his highly anticipated J3 League debut for Kagoshima United yesterday. The 18-year-old was introduced as a substitute in the 86th minute of the match but was unable to help his side salvage a point from Kataller Toyama.
Phaso made his debut for Chonburi back in 2014 and has impressed. The striker is adept at using both feet and possesses great pace.
After two loan spells at Sriracha and Phan Thong FC, where he appeared in 8 and 14 matches respectively, Phaso was loaned out to J3 League side Kagoshima United.
The Samut Prakan-born player has also been called up to Thailand U-19 side since 2016 and scored 3 goals in 6 matches.
Sittichok Phaso was listed by British magazine The Guardian amongst the 60 best young talents in world football in 2016. Considered one of the brightest prospects in Asia’s most passionate football region, Phaso is hailed by the prestigious paper as “the one from Southeast Asia who finally makes it in Europe”.
