J.League club Ventforet Kofu have announced the signing of Melbourne Victory marquee midfielder Oliver Bozanic.
The Japanese outfit confirmed that Bozanic will sign, pending a medical, and is set to join the team at training from Friday.
“We are pleased to inform you that Bozanic will fully transfer from Melbourne Victory. It becomes an official contract after medical check,” read a statement on the club’s website.
“Bozanic is scheduled to join the team for practice on March 17.”
Bozanic is the Victory’s current Australian marquee but has severely underperformed since his return to the A-League.
The 28-year-old midfielder will be the fourth Australian on a J.League club’s books this season alongside Nathan Burns, Milos Degenek and Mitch Duke.
