Qatari attacker Boualem Khoukhi is reportedly looking for a way to leave Qatar Stars League side Al-Arabi as the club has failed to pay his salary for an extended period of time.
The 26-year-old joined Al-Arabi in 2009 and has played 135 league games for Al-Arabi, scoring 32 goals. He has become captain of the club and is considered as a key player by both the coaching staff as well as the fans.
Khoukhi signed a new contract with Al-Arabi in 2014; however, Qatari international footballer has decided to leave the club, according to reports. One of the key reasons for this is the fact that he was being unpaid for a while.
In the event that he leaves Al-Arabi, a number of clubs are interested in his service.
