Brazilian striker Rodrigo Lima has reportedly terminated his contract with Al Ahli following a period of 3 months in which the club failed to pay his salary.
Rodrigo Lima is considered as a key player for Al Ahli. The Brazilian attacker joined the club from Benfica in 2015 for €7 million and has helped them to win a UAE football league title, as well as finishing runners-up in the 2015 AFC Champions League.
Prior to joining Al Ahli, Rodrigo Lima had short stints with various Portuguese club, including Braga and Benfica.
He had won two Portuguese Primeira Liga titles with the Eagles.
