Iranian midfielder Reza Shekari is set to join Russian Premier League side FC Rostov after reaching an agreement with the club, according to reports.
The 19-year-old footballer is widely considered as one of the brightest youngsters in Iran. In 2015, he was named by British newspapers The Guardian as one of the 50 most exciting young talents in world football.
Shakeri joined Zob Ahan on a three-year contract in 2015. He had made 17 league appearances for the club before making the move to Russia.
The 19-year-old midfielder has also representing Iran at youth levels, but hasn’t made debut with the senior team yet.
He will join fellow Iranian Sardar Azmoun at Rostov.
