FC Pocheon to participate in 2017 Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup

South Korean club FC Pocheon will participate in the 2017 Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup, which will be held in Bangladesh from 18 February to 2 March, official sources confirmed.

The Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup is a friendly tournament which was created in 2015. In the inaugural edition, Bangladesh Football Premier League outfit Chittagong Abahani won the tournament following a 3-1 victory over Indian club East Bengal.

At the tournament, FC Pocheon are in Group A, along with Bangladesh’s Dhaka Abahani, Kyrgyzstan’s Alga Bishkek, and T.C. Sports Club from Maldives.

Defending champions Chittagong Abahani are in group B, along with Bangladesh’s Dhaka Mohammedan, Nepal’s Manang Marshyangdi Club, and Shaheen Asmayee from Afghanistan.
