Saeid Ezatolahi joins Anzhi Makhachkala on loan

Iranian youngster Saeid Ezatolahi has signed a contract to play for Anzhi Makhachkala on loan from Rostov until the end of the season, official sources confirmed.

The 20-year-old midfielder had recently extended his contract with Rostov for two and a half year.

Previously, the former Atletico Madrid midfielder had been linked with various European clubs after his contract expired at the end of the 2016 season, but he decided to stay with Rostov.

Ezatolahi made his debut for Iranian club Malavan just 25 days after his 16th birthday, making him the youngest ever player in the history of the Iran Pro League. He went on to become the youngest goal scorer for the Iranian national team at the age of 19.

He was signed by Spanish giants Atletico Madrid in 2014 but decided to leave the club in 2015 as he failed to earn a starting berth in the first team.
