Penang boss Ashley Westwood given four-match touchline ban

Penang FA head coach Ashley Westwood has been given a four-match touchline ban and fine $450 for his behaviour in the 1-0 loss against Perak FA.

The 40-year-old English tactician was charged with verbally abusing referee Zamzaidi Katimin after being sent off during the Malaysian Super League game on January 27.

Former Bengaluru boss’ suspension started on February 4 against T-Team and will miss the home match against Sarawak, Pahang and Kedah.

Penang currently sit on the bottom of MSL this season and recorded bad performances in the last three games which all ended in straight defeats.
