Sanfrecce Hiroshima ease past Muangthong United in Toyota Premier Cup

Felipe Silva, Masato Kudo, and Anderson Lopes were all on target as J1 League outfit Sanfrecce Hiroshima defeated Muangthong United 3-1 in the Toyota Premier Cup on Saturday.

The Japanese club broke the deadlock in the second half, with Felipe Silva scored from close range. A few minutes later, an unmarked Masato Kudo doubled Sanfrecce’s lead, finishing clinically from inside of the box.

By the 65th minute, Sanfrecce had effectively put the game out of reach for Muangthong United when Theeraton conceded a penalty, which successfully converted by Felipe Anderson.

Teerasil Dangda scored a consolation goal for Muangthong United in the 85th minute, but it was too little, too late for the Thai club.
