Indian club Mohun Bagan defeated Chennai City 2-1 in the fourth round of the 2017 I-League season to maintain their perfect record with 12 points from four matches.
Haitian attacker Sony Norde scored a late winner to help his team came back from a goal down to beat Chennai City at their home stadium. Mohun Bagan’s fourth victory in a row has seen them jumping to the top of the table, three points ahead of Bengaluru FC, who will play East Bengal on Sunday.
The host team took the lead in the 52nd minute via Brazilian striker Marcos Tank, but Mohun Bagan was quick to react, equalizing through Jeje Lalpekhlua just four minutes later.
Norde, who failed to convert from the penalty spot in the first half, made amends to his mistake by scoring the winning goal in the 77th minute.
