Lanexang United estimated that the potential six-team Premier League will make the commercial viability of football in Laos untenable, so the club have decided to withdraw from the competition altogether.
The Lao Premier League defending champions also denied match-fixing allegations, saying that the club “unequivocally refute any possibility of Lanexang United to be involved in such conduct”.
