Myanmar coach Rabah Benlarbi was left frustrated after seeing his team lost in the third place match of 2017 AFF U-18 Youth Championship against Indonesia.
The hosts were humiliated as Indonesia romped to a 3-0 lead before the end of the first half, and eventually sealed their victory with a 7-1 hammering of the Young White Angels.
After suffering one of the heaviest defeats in the tournament, Benlarbi could not hide his huge disappointment.
“Today we did not play. Only one team played, while the other team (Myanmar) just became like spectators,” the French tactician said.
“Even we could not find a solution to get out from the pressure. I do not know what really happened to my team.”
“My team just like ghosts, I could not see them (perform) on the pitch, not like my team who are with me since the beginning of tournament. Indonesia just played against our shadow team.”
