WATCH: Makoto Hasebe misses an open goal in Bundesliga

Japanese Makoto Hasebe missed an open goal in Bundesliga match between Eintracht Frankfurt and Ingolstadt last weekeend.

The veteran midefielder stepped up to take a penalty when his team, Eintracht Frankfurt,  was trailing by a goal in the 56 minute. After his first attempt was saved by Ingolstadt goalkeeper Martin Hansen, he took a rebound but somehow he smashed the ball into the crossbar when in front of him was an empty net.

The match finished with 2-0 victory for Ingolstadt.
