Napoli are reportedly putting together a move for Chelsea outcast left-back Ben Chilwell as the Serie A side look to add another Premier League star.
The Blues star has fallen out of favor at Stamford Bridge under Enzo Maresca and was had been told to leave this summer and would most likely struggle for regular minutes this season since returning to the squad and a January move could be on the cards.
Napoli are interested in signing Chilwell this season as Antonio Conte is believed to be impressed with the England international, according to The Sun. As per the report, the Serie A side could make a loan move for Chilwell this January and then make a permanent transfer in the summer of 2025.
Napoli have actively sourced players from the Premier League since Conte joined the club this summer. Napoli signed Scott McTominay from Manchester United and Billy Gilmour from Brighton in the summer, with both in top form this campaign.
England international Chilwell will likely be in action for Chelsea’s next clash against Liverpool on Sunday, October 20 although it remains to be seen if he will be granted any game time.
