Neville described Marinakis\u2019s actions as \u201cscandalous\u201d and suggested that Espirito Santo should \u201cnegotiate his exit,\u201d implying the owner had unfairly targeted the manager.<\/p>\n
Forest later denied reports of a heated confrontation between Marinakis and Espirito Santo, calling them \u201cfake news,\u201d and explained that the owner\u2019s frustration stemmed from the injured striker Taiwo Awoniyi continuing to play despite needing substitution.<\/p>\n
Neville said he was informed by Sky Sports that Nottingham Forest would not provide him access to the City Ground as a co-commentator for the crucial match against Chelsea, which could determine Forest\u2019s qualification for the Champions League next season.
