LALIGA has selected Malaysia as one of the countries to host the LALIGA VS Bullying campaign. A special event in collaboration with LALIGA Academy Malaysia brought together more than 60 young footballers part of the academy for various awareness-raising activities.<\/p>\n
During the event, LALIGA Academy Malaysia\u2019s Technical Director Diego Guti\u00e9rrez explained
\nLALIGA’s role in addressing bullying both on and off the pitch. Participants also watched
\neducational videos, including a special message from \u00c1lex, LALIGA\u2019s virtual influencer, who
\ngreeted the academy\u2019s students and expressed his own support for the initiative.<\/p>\n
Additionally, team building exercises led by the LALIGA Academy Malaysia technical director were
\nheld on their 4G FIFA approved Astroturf Football field, including activities that involved \u2018dribbling\u2019
\nthe monster that symbolises bullying in the campaign's visuals. These activities underscored how
\nteamwork and unity can help young people combat bullying more effectively.<\/p>\n
Since its launch in autumn, LALIGA has continued to promote the LALIGA VS BULLYING campaign,
\nemphasising the core values of football, such as teamwork, unity, and solidarity. The campaign
\nencourages children to be proactive rather than passive, and to unite in the face of the problem.<\/p>\n
Underpinned by the slogan \u201cA team leaves no one alone\u201d its message is that football\u2019s collective
\nspirit can inspire positive social change.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor years, LALIGA has worked to fight hate and violence through its LALIGA VS initiative, which
\nincludes various campaigns like LALIGA VS Racism and this season\u2019s new effort: LALIGA VS
\nBULLYING.<\/p>\n
In this campaign, LALIGA wanted to capture football\u2019s collective spirit, where success
\ndepends on unity and mutual support. That principle is exactly what we need in the fight against
\nbullying, and it\u2019s what we\u2019ve seen demonstrated here today,\u201d explained Adri\u00e1n Prol, LALIGA\u2019s
\ndelegate in Malaysia.<\/p>\n
LALIGA Academy Malaysia opened in 2023 in partnership with the prestigious EPSOM College in
\nMalaysia and since then the project has highlighted the school’s commitment to providing a world-
\nclass holistic education that combines sport and academics in equal measure to students from
\nacross Asia.<\/p>\n
Sport is seamlessly integrated into the existing academic curriculum – which builds on
\nalmost 200 years of academic excellence from EPSOM College in the UK. Students live, learn, and
\ntrain in a holistic learning ecosystem that places equal emphasis on academic and sporting
