Former Manchester City ace striker Sergio Aguero seriously believes four teams can still win the Premier League\u00a0title despite Liverpool\u2019s healthy, although not insurmountable, lead at the top of the table.<\/p>\n
The Reds have opened up a six-point gap at the top of the Premier League with still a game in hand over their title rivals. They finished third in Jurgen Klopp\u2019s final season at Anfield and were expected to take time to gel under the German\u2019s replacement, Arne Sloy but remarkably took off like a rocket launcher under the new head coach, having lost only two games all season to emerge as the favorites to win both the Premier League and Champions League.<\/p>\n
Aguero envisions it will be \u2018tough\u2019 to make up ground on Liverpool but insists Arsenal, Chelsea and his former club Manchester City cannot be ruled out of the title race.<\/p>\n
The Gunners \u2013 despite currently second \u2013 are looking more vulnerable than they have over the past two seasons, dropping points in almost half of their Premier League games. \u00a0 Next come Nottingham Forest in third, following a pretty stellar run of form under Nuno Espirito Santo, above third-placed Chelsea and fourth-placed Man City.<\/p>\n
Chelsea have obviously exceeded expectations in Enzo Maresca\u2019s first season at Stamford Bridge but a dismal run since Christmas\u00a0has seen the Blues slip ten points adrift of league leaders Liverpool.<\/p>\n
Next come Manchester City, who in the meanwhile have experienced an alarming drop-off under Pep Guardiola, conceding six league games as they still attempt to win the Premier League for a record-extending fifth successive year.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo compete for the title, you\u2019ve got to win as many matches as possible,\u2019 Stake ambassador Aguero said, looking ahead to Man City\u2019s clash against Chelsea this weekend.<\/p>\n
\u201cChelsea is just another hurdle and beating them would be a massive boost. I wouldn\u2019t look out the rear-view mirror to see how it benefits others \u2013 I\u2019d look straight ahead and think about what\u2019s best for City.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m not big on predictions. At present, Liverpool has racked up a sizable advantage, it\u2019s hard to ignore how tough it\u2019d be to erase their point lead.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut this remains the Premier League, and the impossible has happened before. Arsenal and Chelsea are hopeful, and if they keep steady, they\u2019ll be in the race.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs for City \u2013 what can I say but my trademark: they\u2019ll fight until the end. I\u2019ve seen it happen in the flesh.<\/p>\n
\u201cI stand by what I\u2019ve said about Chelsea. I also mentioned the team is very young on average, and that has its pros and cons.<\/p>\n
