The clock is ticking for\u00a0 Manchester United who are anxious to add a new forward to their squad in the January transfer window to potentially seal a deal for a new striker as Alejandro Garnacho and Marcus Rashford are both moving closer to the Old Trafford exit door.<\/p>\n
There are only just two weeks of the January transfer window remaining, and a move for Randal Kolo Muani has already fallen by the wayside, with the PSG star looking all set to join Juventus instead \u2013 a move that could force the Red Devils to look elsewhere, with links to Sporting Lisbon frontman Viktor Gyokeres still persisting. Obviously any addition would be useful given that a few forwards could leave Old Trafford over the coming days.<\/p>\n
Among those linked with an exit are Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho, with the former linked with AC Milan and the Argentine forward Garnacho linked with a move to Napoli as the Italian side are currently on the lookout for a new forward as Khvicha Kvaratskhelia closes in on a move to PSG.<\/p>\n
According to La Repubblica via Area Napoli, to the Red Devils would be contented to accept a loan deal for Garnacho, with an obligation to buy around \u20ac40-50m (\u00a333.7m-\u00a342.1m).<\/p>\n
The young forward has also suggested that he would be interested in signing for Napoli this month. The 21-year-old forward has made 30 appearances for United this season, scoring eight goals and is under contract until 2028.<\/p>\n
A replacement forward who could arrive at the club over the foreseeable future is Gyokeres as the Swede has constantly been linked with United since new boss Ruben Amorim switched to the Old Trafford club earlier this season.<\/p>\n
United have since been handed a significant boost in their pursuit of the forward as Bayern Munich have found an alternative to Gyokeres. according to Sky Sports Germany.\u00a0Previously the suggestion was that the Bundesliga giants were interested in the United target but they are now looking at Chelsea\u2019s Christopher Nkunku instead, with the Blues having submitted an enquiry for Mathys Tel so a deal could be thrashed out between the two clubs.<\/p>\n
Manchester United chiefs are now also reportedly looking to hold a meeting with Marcus Rashford\u2019s representatives to reach a decision over his future. The wantaway forward has been linked with a move to the San Siro, with Milan bosses having already held talks.<\/p>\n
Additional reports from Italy also claim the Serie A side are \u2018confident\u2019 that Rashford wants to join them this month, despite however facing competition for his services from Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona.<\/p>\n
