The hearing into the alleged breaches were finally wrapped up last week, with both sides issuing their final statements. There will now be a period of time afforded to the three-person panel to reach a decision.<\/p>\n
The charges levelled at City span across the last 14 years and cover a host of different Premier League rules over sponsorships, spending and not providing accurate financial information over the span of nine seasons.<\/p>\n
When the hearing was first announced, City were facing 115 charges. However, the total is now 130 because there was some confusion over the Premier League\u2019s breakdown of the charges.<\/p>\n
An outcome is expected in the next six to eight weeks, but there\u2019s likely to then be an appeal from the losers of the case.<\/p>\n
The Premier League have already spent close to \u00a350m on legal costs fighting the case.<\/p>\n
City maintain they have \u2018irrefutable evidence\u2019 against the charges.<\/p>\n
