West Ham have already started considering replacements for Lopetegui with several big names having been linked with the East London club so far, including Edin Terzic, Graham Potter\u00a0and Max Allegri. And now the Irons are supposedly weighing up a move for Michael Carrick, having been impressed with his work at Middlesbrough, according to the Daily Mirror. He is said to be one of the names high up on the shortlist at the London Stadium.<\/p>\n
The 43-year-old began his career at West Ham and went on to make over 100 appearances for them. Carrick spent most of his career at Manchester United, but he is still remembered fondly at the Hammers. The former England international has been Boro\u2019s head coach since October 2022. He led them to the play-off semi-finals in his first campaign before guiding them to the last four of the EFL Cup last term.<\/p>\n
Middlesbrough are also doing well this season, and clearly do not want to lose their manager who is helping to build a promotion push in the Championship.
