Carragher, who spent his entire career at Liverpool, warned Alexander-Arnold that leaving Anfield could affect his legacy with the fans, citing the examples of Michael Owen and Steve McManaman who both left the club for Madrid.<\/p>\n
“Michael Owen moved, Steve McManaman moved and they were two amazing players for Liverpool,” Carragher said on Sky Sports. “But they’re not thought of as amazing players by Liverpool supporters because they moved on.<\/p>\n
