Catalan Pep Guardiola has carved yet another significant niche in history with City after leading the Club to a record fourth successive Premier League title, his sixth, since moving to Manchester in 2016.<\/p>\n
This is the first time in the history of English football any men\u2019s side has won the top-flight four years consecutively, making his haul of six titles the joint-second most amongst all coaches in the storied history of the English game.<\/p>\n
This latest Premier League victory is the much-decorated Spaniard\u2019s 17th major trophy at City and his 38th in total in 15 seasons as a manager, having now also won the Manager of the Season award in five of the eight seasons he has been in charge at the Etihad Stadium.<\/p>\n
Guardiola had also received the honor after title-winning campaigns in 2017\/18, 2018\/19, 2020\/21 and 2022\/23.<\/p>\n
This time around City won their last nine matches and went unbeaten for the final 23 games of the season to hold off the fierce challenge of both Arsenal and Liverpool, with a 3-1 final day defeat of West Ham ensuring the Sky Blues finished two points ahead of Mikel Arteta\u2019s bloodhounds and lifted the trophy once more in front of the Etihad fans.<\/p>\n
Finishing on 91 points, City have now surpassed the 90-point mark four times under their celebrated manager,\u00a0which is more than any Club has managed throughout the entire Premier League era.<\/p>\n
In total, Guardiola has won 225 of his 304 Premier League matches at City \u2013 29 more than the next most successful side over that period.<\/p>\n
Upon receiving the prize, the Catalan\u00a0enthused: \u201cIt\u2019s an honor to have been chosen by the Premier League as the Manager of the Season.<\/p>\n

Only Sir Alex Ferguson has won the award more times (11) than the Spaniard.<\/p>\n
