Former Tottenham striker Harry Kane has finally opened up on his \u00a3100m move to Bayern Munich in the summer after having kept a close lid on what he had gone through.<\/p>\n
Kane made an exclusive revelation to\u00a0FourFourTwo<\/em>\u00a0exactly what transpired during his transfer from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich. The former Spurs talisman has settled in remarkably since arriving in Bavaria,\u00a0scoring 17 goals in his first 11 Bundesliga appearances. However prior to that, he had to endure a tumultuous 24 hours in August 2023 whilst in transition from his boyhood club to the German Bundesliga giants.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was a bit of a mad experience to be honest,\u201d Kane now tells\u00a0FourFourTwo<\/em>\u00a0of that life-changing day. \u201cI didn\u2019t really know what to expect, as I\u2019d been at Spurs for 19 years and was really happy there. So\u2028I was stepping out of my comfort zone \u2013 it was a first for me to feel how these transfers happen, and to be a part of one.<\/p>\n \u201cLast season, all I focused on was Tottenhsm\u00a0and trying to help the club finish as high as possible in the table. Once the season finished,\u2028I spoke to Spurs and explained that I felt it was time to move on and push myself as far as possible. I was confident the clubs would eventually come to an agreement.”<\/p>\n Both clubs finally did settle on an agreement, with Bayern agreeing on a deal with Tottenham for Kane worth \u00a3100m, with the England striker signing a four-year contract at the club. Even arriving at the training ground on his first day turned out to be somewhat of a daunting experience, even for the Premier League hot goal-scoring ace.<\/p>\n \u201cI woke up on the Saturday morning, went straight to training, met all the players for the first time, then we had the game that night,\u201d Kane reflect. \u201cI was at the airport just the previous afternoon. Like I said, it was mad.<\/p>\n \u201cThose first few days felt like joining a new school. Putting faces to names, introducing yourself, everyone asking how you are. I\u2019ve faced a lot of the lads in the past, so it was nice to get to know them all personally.
