Brentford halted Chelsea\u2019s recent good run with a 2-0 win away at Stamford Bridge on Saturday when they whittled away at the expensively-assembled Blues who were unable to turn possession into goals once again and were robbed of their 3 points by a brilliant header from defender Ethan Pinnock and a last-minute goal by Bryan Mbeumo.<\/p>\n
The Blues\u2019 west London derby defeat was yet another setback for Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino, whose side had recently shown promising signs of putting right a poor start to the season behind them recently with two wins out of three and a 2-2 draw against Arsenal last weekend.<\/p>\n
“The frustration is so massive,” Pochettino told talkSPORT radio, saying a strong first-half performance gave way to a lack of calm after the break.<\/p>\n
“We are doing our job, we are happy here,” the Argentine said. “We need to be clinical and score more goals. This is what is missing… We need to keep believing.”<\/p>\n
Despite staring on the front foot, the Blues were not able to convert started for all their buzzing around Brentford’s penalty area, although they did create a few chances before an undetected Pinnock connected powerfully with an Mbeumo cross in the 58th minute to seal the deal.<\/p>\n

Brentford’s third league win at Stamford Bridge in as many seasons sees them leap-frogging their neighbors into 10th spot, while Chelsea dropped to 11th ahead of the rest of the weekend’s fixtures.<\/p>\n
