Former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou is seemingly unstoppable with the Australian now being hailed as the Premier League\u2019s manager of the month for the second successive time.<\/p>\n
The 58-year-old Tottenham boss goes on record as the first Australian to win the award, becoming the first manager ever to win the much-coveted prize in each of his first two months in the competition, after having also received August\u2019s similar acclaim.<\/p>\n
Jurgen Klopp was the last manager to win the first two awards of any season in 2019-20 \u2013 and this will hopefully be a good omen for Postecoglou as the German\u2019s Liverpool side went on to win the Premier League that season.<\/p>\n
Following a public vote combined with those of a panel of soccer experts Postecoglou beat fellow nominees Mikel Arteta, Unai Emery, Eddie Howe and Klopp after another impressive campaign in September as Spurs continued their unbeaten start to the season with three more victories and a draw to emerge top of the table.<\/p>\n
Having scored five against Burnley, and then netting twice in stoppage time to earn a remarkable 2-1 win over Sheffield United, it was a fitting comeback facilitated by Postecoglou\u2019s late introduction of Richarlison, who scored an equaliser in the 98th minute before setting up the 100th minute winner.<\/p>\n
Next, Spurs fought back twice to grab a 2-2 draw at Arsenal in Postecoglou\u2019s first north London derby and the month concluded with Tottenham earning another stoppage time winner to earn the scalp of Liverpool for the first time in six years.<\/p>\n
October has started remarkably well for Postecoglou, with the 1-0 win at Luton currently leaving Spurs top on goal difference ahead of Arsenal.<\/p>\n
