Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag would be in the thick of finalising his plans ahead of the new Premier League campaign before it kicks off in less than two weeks time.<\/p>\n
With two players already signed this summer and a third, Rasmus Hojlund, set to arrive from Atalanta. Hojlund\u2019s arrival would take United’s spending in excess of \u00a3150m this window, after the addition of Mason Mount\u00a0and Andre Onana to the squad.<\/p>\n
Although more incomings have been targeted, the concern now would be players needing to be heading out the door to fund further signings as Ten Hag may need to ‘sell up to five players’ to fund a move for Fiorentina\u2019s Sofyan Amrabat this summer.<\/p>\n
The Red Devils have now got to sell before they can buy, with Hojlund set to become their latest summer arrival, according to The Independent<\/em>, whose report claims that United will need to allow five stars to depart the club in the coming weeks in order to get a deal over the line for Amrabat, who is valued at around \u00a330m.<\/p>\n Among the players heavily linked with a move away from the club are Scott McTominay, Fred and Brandon Williams, according to what\u2019s been in the air so far. Scotland\u00a0international Mctominay has found a keen suitor in West Ham who are looking to sign a replacement for Declan Rice. Meanwhile, fellow midfielder Fred could be exiting Old Trafford for Fulham. United starlet Nathan Bishop has also reportedly left the club for Sunderland on a three-year deal.<\/p>\n
