Bayern Munich has finally broken the silence on their pursuit of Tottenham Hotspur star Harry Kane with president Herbert Hainer opening up on the issue.<\/p>\n

Kane has already entered into the final 12 months of his contract with Spurs and apparently won\u2019t be signing a new contract this summer, although signing an extension is still an option he is open to if he remains at the club under Ange Postecoglou,\u00a0football.london\u00a0<\/em>understands.<\/p>\n Bayern have been most heavily linked with a serious move for the England captain this summer, apart from PSG and Manchester United, but the German giants would have to offer Spurs a considerable fee to agree to a deal. Now, Hainer has opened up candidly on the 29-year-old’s stellar quality whilst also openly conceding that the player would be the perfect addition to the Bundesliga.<\/p>\n \u201cI think that here in Bundesliga we don\u2019t have many international stars anymore,” he said, via transfer guru Fabrizio Romano. “Bayern always try to bring stars.”<\/p>\n He added: “Harry Kane is a highly attractive player, England captain and top scorer. He would do us and the Bundesliga good.”<\/p>\n As for Tottenham, new boss Postecoglou is left with no alternatives but to remain coy when queried about Kane\u2019s future at the club, claiming that nothing has changed regarding the prolific striker’s future with the club. When asked if reports regarding Spurs’ owner sanctioning an exit for Kane were true, the Australian replied: “No, no. Like I’ve said pretty consistently I deal with what’s before me.<\/p>\n “If something like that becomes something that I need to consider then it’ll hit my roving desk at the moment.
