In an interview with Interia Sport (h\/t SPORT, the former Bayern Munich dynamo provided a gem of information on Lionel Messi\u2019s immediate reaction when he told the Argentine star about how life at Barcelona is going for him.<\/p>\n
\u201cKeep it a secret, but when I told him about Barcelona, his eyes lit up,\u201d Lewandowski said about his conversation with Messi at the recent Laureus awards ceremony.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd it\u2019s not surprising, after all, he grew up here; he has a house here that he visits often. Barcelona is his home.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lewandowski decided to finally relocate to the Catalan side after a prolonged, successful period over a decade in the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich and has since been getting a taste of exciting Spanish football. The prolific Polish goal scorer had spent a major part of his football career so far at Borussia Dortmund and Bayern side during his time in the Bundesliga.<\/p>\n
