Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes is seemingly unconcerned about Liverpool advancing in form as he is more concerned about his side\u2019s need for improvement in their away from.<\/p>\n
Fernandes has insisted he is \u2018not worried about Liverpool\u2019, claiming instead his preoccupation is primarily with United\u2019s performances in the midst of the clubs\u2019 battle for a top-four finish in the Premier League.<\/p>\n
The Red Devils advanced four points clear of Liverpool on Saturday after their 2-0 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers and will face Leicester City on Monday night as they head into the game, hot after a run of six league wins in a row.<\/p>\n
Fernandes claims he\u2019s not taking any notice of Jurgen Klopp\u2019s side as the Premier League campaign enters its final two weeks.<\/p>\n
“I\u2019m not worried about Liverpool, I\u2019m worried about us doing our job,\u201d claimed the Portugal international.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is about ourselves and, like I said, if we do our job properly, if we win our games we will be in the Champions League so we don\u2019t need to look at the table or look at other teams.”<\/p>\n
Up next for United is a trip to Bournemouth on Saturday. The Cherries have enjoyed a superb campaign and are comfortably clear of the relegation zone. As for United, they\u2019ll hope for an improvement on their poor away form which has seen them lose the last on the road to Brighton & Hove Albion and West Ham United.<\/p>\n
“The aim now is to win the game against Bournemouth. It is an away game and we have not been at our best in the away games and we have to get back to getting wins away from home,\u201d said Fernandes.<\/p>\n
\u201cHere [at Old Trafford] the support is amazing but the away fans, they go everywhere and follow us everywhere, it\u2019s always full of people to support us, so it cannot be an excuse for us.<\/p>\n
