Eric ten Hag\u2019s side beat Brighton on penalties at Wembley to earn their slot in the FA Cup final and will now take on their city rivals and Premier League defending champions for the showpiece event in the domestic football calendar.<\/p>\n
Despite booking their spot in the final with a 3-0 win over Sheffield United, City may be concerned they have much bigger fish to fry though as Pep Guardiola\u2019s side could likely take another Premier League\u00a0crown this season having narrowed the gap considerably with Arsenal, and now justifiably have their fate back in their own hands should they achieve a win against the Gunners in the coming Wednesday\u2019s outing.<\/p>\n
City easily dispensed with Bayern Munich in the quarter finals of the Champions League could be heading for their first Champions League crown should they beat beat Real Madrid in the final four and square off with a Milan club waiting in the final in Istanbul.<\/p>\n
The FA Cup will be lying in between those two events and the rarest of opportunities to seal a treble that has only ever been achieved once before by an English side \u2013 a feat achieved by Sir Alex Ferguson\u2019s valiant side in 1999. No one else has come close since, but City may be the best bet yet as things seem to be lining up for Guardiola and his boys in blue.<\/p>\n
