Klopp\u2019s Merseyside outfit have been City’s most persistent, and main, challengers in recent seasons clearly, themselves finally winning the Premier League title back in 2019 after a long drought stretching 3 decades. Yet, incredibly, Liverpool now find themselves having been surpassed by the likes of Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United as they push themselves hard to press on in fighting for a top four spot heading towards the end of the season.<\/p>\n
The Gunners\u2019 Mikel Arteta has led his valiant side to the summit of the table even as the race continues to heat up his\u00a0ahead of a crucial run of fixtures in March and April. Arsenal will be focused on maintaining their advantage over City this weekend with Arteta\u2019s men all geared up to take on relegation-threatened Bournemouth, as Guardiola’s team prepare to face off against an in-form Newcastle.<\/p>\n
Liverpool are now left with no options but to mount a concerted, late charge to carve out a place in the top four after a dismal season by their lofty standards as they now sit sixth, a far cry from their success in recent seasons.<\/p>\n
This has prompted Klopp to now offer his honest verdict on the title race between Arsenal and City, admitting he couldn’t be ‘less interested’ in other teams challenging at the top of the table.<\/p>\n
