Three Lions and Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has been in sensationally imperious form for the Red Devils, with his splurge of goals helping to spur the Old Trafford club to chase for a cup treble this campaign.<\/p>\n
Surprisingly, Anfield\u2019s Jurgen Klopp suddenly revealed he is actually most delighted to see that Rashford is now obviously back to form and in fact playing incredibly well, and added that he thinks the England international is in the form of his life.<\/p>\n
The Liverpool manager admitted in a rare moment of self introspection that he is rarely in a dsposition to be happy to see rival club\u2019s\u00a0\u2013 like the Manchester club\u2019s\u00a0\u2013 players excelling but has made an exception in the case of Rashford, who had somehow undergone the worst season of his career last year and has now already surged back to make incredible headway in his most prolific campaign currently.<\/p>\n
Rashford was barely able to net five goals for the Old Trafford club last season and now already has 25 for the current season, the first of them in a 2-1 win over Liverpool in August and the most recent in their Carabao Cup final victory.<\/p>\n
Klopp has long been an advocate of Rashford, having also lavished praise on the latter not only for his skills on the pitch but also for his campaign to ensure children from poorer backgrounds got free school meals in 2020, especially when the Covid pandemic was devastating the globe.<\/p>\n
And he said: \u201cRashford is in the form of his life and for sure influenced by Erik ten Hag. It is pretty much impossible to be positive about something at Manchester United when you at the Liverpool manager for seven-and-a-half years but I am really happy for Rashford.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe had a really difficult last year and was not performing at the level he is able to and I knew this would change again and now he is playing incredible, [with] his speed and technique, how calm he is in front of goal. He scores worldies, he scores the simple ones.\u201d<\/p>\n
The Reds thrashed United 5-0 and 4-0 last season but Ten Hag’s side won 2-1 earlier this campaign and are 10 points ahead of Klopp\u2019s side.<\/p>\n
But the German believes the table is irrelevant this weekend as hae added: \u201cThank God nobody talks about the results we had against them last year.
