Chelsea can mount a serious challenge for the Premier League title with three more signings this summer, according to ex-Tottenham striker Darren Bent. The Stamford Bridge club are already the biggest spenders in this window and are apparently still in the market for further additions to Thomas Tuchel’s squad to bolster the squad even more potently.<\/p>\n
Having already splashed out around \u00a3175million on new talent, The Blues have already recently added Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly and Marc Cucurella to their already erstwhile squad. Yet Tuchel is still keen to strengthen in all areas of the pitch with Leicester star Wesley Fofana being next their top defensive target.<\/p>\n
Additionally, Barcelona\u2019s ace midfielder Frenkie de Jong and former Gunners\u2019 bad boy star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are both on the agenda for the remainder of this window. If De Jong were to leave Barca, it\u2019s said his preference is with Chelsea over Manchester United, while Aubameyang previously worked under Tuchel at Borussia Dortmund.<\/p>\n
Bent is inclined to dispel any doubts over Aubameyang in the aftermath of his much-publicised exit from Arsenal. He reckons if Chelsea can secure their top three targets, they will be realistically competing for top spot come the end of the season.<\/p>\n
