Simon Jordan insists Romelu Lukaku \u2018should learn when to speak, who to speak to and how to speak\u2019 after the striker revealed he wasn\u2019t happy with his situation at Chelsea in a bombshell interview released on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Lukaku, who returned to the Blues for a club record \u00a397.5million fee from Inter in the summer, expressed disappointment at Tuchel\u2019s preferred style of play following a difficult run of individual form in an interview which was conducted earlier in December, but released this week.<\/p>\n
Lukaku has done himself no favours with his comments, Jordan believes<\/p>\n
Reacting to the explosive comments on Friday, the German boss said he would sit down with the Belgian to thrash out a way forward \u2013 but insisted he does not see any problems with the striker.<\/p>\n
Former Crystal Palace owner Jordan, however, said the comments made by the 28-year-old demonstrated a lack of class and insisted players have no reason to speak out publicly in such a way.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe should learn when to speak, who to speak to and how to speak,\u201d Jordan said on the White and Jordan show.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is players flexing their muscles, pushing the envelope and trying to make decisions to influence an outcome.<\/p>\n
\u201cI know I sound one-dimensional but unless you put a ceiling on players, you then have anarchy and players saying what they want and doing what they want as there is no structure.<\/p>\n
\u201cPlayers speaking like this \u2013 there\u2019s no reason for it.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s massively well paid, he\u2019s massively appreciated and plays in one of the best teams in the country.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s coming back to Chelsea where he wasn\u2019t that successful first time round and now he\u2019s saying he\u2019s unhappy.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jordan is adamant Lukaku crossed the line in his interview with Sky Italy and insisted a conversation about his feelings should have been done internally at Chelsea.<\/p>\n
\u201cI mean, he\u2019s playing to the gallery,\u201d Jordan told the White and Jordan show on Friday.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe fact that this has been done with Sky Italia and he\u2019s been so successful at Inter shows he\u2019s playing to the gallery because if he\u2019d done it with Sky England or somewhere else he probably wouldn\u2019t have said the same thing.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think it\u2019s universally accepted he wasn\u2019t particularly wanting to leave Inter Milan. He was very successful there and he left because they had no money and they needed to sell players to balance the books.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s not unsurprising that he wants to go back to Italy, but where he goes into the territory of not being happy, there\u2019s something to be said about not speaking up.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s something to be said about knowing when to speak and knowing when to be quiet.<\/p>\n
\u201cThere\u2019s no benefit in Lukaku saying to the media he\u2019s unhappy. That needs to be had with his manager.\u201d<\/p>\n
