For the first time in history, Discovery Channel will be airing JDT’s documentary Fearless: Rise of the Southern Tigers tomorrow night.<\/p>\n
This has been made possible after Discovery, Inc. has acquired the documentary from distributors 108 Media to air across Southeast Asia, Taiwan and Hong Kong.<\/p>\n
Head of Content, Asia Pacific, Discovery, Inc. Lynn Ng said the success story of JDT has prompted them to air the documentary.<\/p>\n

JDT owner, Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim believes many will be able to watch how the team was built from the scratch.<\/p>\n
“I am delighted that many parts of Asia will now be able to watch the incredible story of JDT and how we work so hard behind the scenes to ensure success on and off the field,” said.<\/p>\n
‘Fearless: Rise of the Southern Tigers’ tells the behind-the-scenes story of how JDT is managed, and the changes Johor football has undergone since TMJ took helm in 2013.<\/p>\n
Among stories told in the series include TMJ’s vision for Johor and its football, how hands on the Crown Prince of Johor are, how the club grew from strength to strength, the backroom discussions on club decisions, the loyal Bangsa Johor fans and many more.<\/p>\n
Royal consort to the Crown Prince of Johor, Che’ Puan Besar Khaleeda Bustamam also shares her experiences and describes just how passionate TMJ is.<\/p>\n
The series features interviews with the Technical Director of JDT, Alistair Edwards, Sporting Director Martin Prest, Head Coach Benjamin Mora, former manager Luciano Figueroa, JDT academy coaches, players, fans and other individuals at JDT. The cameras also follow several players and the head coach to their respective homes.<\/p>\n
