Paris Saint-Germain striker and playmaker Kylian Mbappe will reportedly reject the club\u2019s latest overture in making their lucrative contract offer, despite the club’s alleged pursuit of his international teammate Paul Pogba.<\/p>\n
Mbappe has been the hot subject of strong speculation for some time now, with LaLiga giants Real Madrid tipped as the favorites to land his prized signature.<\/p>\n
However, in a sensational turn of events, the 22-year-old has asked to leave the Ligue 1 Parisien\u00a0giants when his contract terminates next summer as he is allegedly rejecting Paris Saint-Germain’s latest contract offer to push a move to Real Madrid instead.<\/p>\n
In another development, PSG are rumored to be pressing ahead with plans to sign Pogba from the Premier League but that is reportedly not sufficient as an enticement to convince the former Monaco starlet to sign a new deal.<\/p>\n
According to MARCA, Mbappe has already decided that he will not be committing to fresh terms in the French capital and has his heart already set on a transfer to Madrid.<\/p>\n
It remains to be seen, however, whether the 22-year-old will run down the final year of his deal with PSG or if the club will seek to recoup a fee for him this summer.<\/p>\n
Los Blancos’ long-reported interest in Mbappe comes as no surprise especially after the French phenomenon scored an impressive 42 goals and assisted 11 more in 47 games for PSG last season.<\/p>\n
Moreover, Madrid’s president Florentino Perez\u00a0has since claimed that he is working on rebuilding their already star-studded squad with “the best players in the world” as the Spanish giants, already long well-known for their big-money signings for decades, are now looking to create Perez\u2019s next generation of Galacticos.<\/p>\n
