Wolves have quickly snapped up Barcelona winger Francisco Trincao on a season-long loan deal \u2013 with the option to buy the following summer for around \u00a325million.<\/p>\n
Having successfully kept his signing under wraps whilst they were plotting the move, Trincao comes in having played 42 times for Barca.<\/p>\n
Barca paid Portuguese side Braga around \u00a327million for him last year, and Wolves could reportedly land the 21-year-old for a slightly lower sum.<\/p>\n
Trincao is the club’s second summer signing after Colombian centre-half Yerson Mosquera, and technical director Scott Sellars said: “He\u2019s a really exciting player.<\/p>\n
“It\u2019s an area we\u2019d like more competition, in terms of wide players. I think the fans are going to enjoy watching him play, he drives with the ball well and has good creativity.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve watched him a lot, especially over the last couple of months, so he\u2019s been on our radar for quite a while. He\u2019s got loads of quality \u2013 signing for Barcelona from Braga shows what potential he\u2019s got.<\/p>\n
“He\u2019s 21 and has played quite a lot of games in La Liga, so we think he\u2019s ready for the Premier League.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s a player who drifts past people and he has a great change of direction when he\u2019s moving with the ball.<\/p>\n
“He has great speed over two or three yards, to change direction and get away from people, can score and create, and is an exciting player.\u201d<\/p>\n
Trincao found the net three times for Barcelona last season and also has six Portugal caps to his name.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s a player who has good experience, a good pedigree in terms of club and international games he\u2019s had, so he\u2019s certainly a player who is going to add quality to the squad,” added Sellars.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have a large Portuguese contingent, and they look after each other well, but are also integrated in the whole group. They\u2019re really hard-working, with a good mentality, so I\u2019m sure he\u2019ll integrate well and settle in quickly.<\/p>\n

Besides Trincao, Wolves are also due to wrap up the permanent signing of left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri from French club Angers for \u00a310m.<\/p>\n
