Borussia Dortmund are reportedly on the verge of accepting a third bid of \u00a373m from Manchester United for ace attacker Jadon Sancho.<\/p>\n
The former Manchester City youth talent has been the subject of endless speculation surrounding a move to Old Trafford for over a year now, as Dortmund refused to budge on their earlier \u00a3108m asking price last summer and had also set a deadline for negotiations to be done before, although the Red Devils\u2019 top brass fluffed out on both.<\/p>\n
Unperturbed and persistent (pesky?) as ever, the Red Devils have reignited their interest in Sancho this time around, and Dortmund are believed to have lowered their demands for the England attacker given the urgent need to raise funds like most if not all clubs do due to the financial burdens brought to bear by the Covid pandemic.<\/p>\n
According to SPORT1 reporter Patrick Berger, Dortmund are supposedly ready to accept an offer of \u00a373m from United for Sancho after turning down two earlier bids of \u00a361.8m and \u00a367m in succession.<\/p>\n
Berger adds that Ed Woodward and Hans-Joachim Watzke have held seemingly positive talks over the last few days, and the two parties are now apparently looking to finalize details relating to add-ons and instalments.<\/p>\n
Sancho was named on the bench for England’s Euro 2020 last-16 clash with Germany on Tuesday, and he registered 36 goal contributions (16 goals, 20 assists) in Dortmund colors last term.<\/p>\n
