Carlo Ancelotti has just only made a sensational last minute return as Real Madrid manager on Friday, six years after leaving the club, and is already even now at this early stage being linked with Gareth Bale’s future at the Bernabeu due to his warm relationship with the Italian.<\/p>\n
With his future still clouded with uncertainty, the Wales star has broken his silence on Carlo Ancelotti\u2019s return to the Los Blancos, as the latter was appointed as Zinedine Zidane\u2019s replacement in the Bernabeu hotseat earlier this week following a 17-month spell as Everton boss.<\/p>\n
Bale had joined Madrid from Tottenham when Ancelotti began his first spell at the club in 2013 and played most of the best football of his Los Blancos career under the Italian, after which the Welshman fell out of favour under Zidane in recent seasons, was catapulted back to Spurs on loan for the duration of the last campaign.<\/p>\n
But despite scoring 16 goals during his second spell with Tottenham and seemingly recovering his form, Bale\u2019s future remains uncertain with reports in Spain recently suggesting that he could move back to the Premier League permanently this summer.<\/p>\n
However it now appears Ancelotti\u2019s return to the Spanish capital has seemingly opened the door to Bale coming back from his Madrid wilderness.<\/p>\n
The 31-year-old has now revealed that he is planning talks with his new Madrid manager, once Wales\u2019 participation in Euro 2020 is over.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe\u2019s returned to Real Madrid and he\u2019s a great manager, a great guy,\u201d Bale told Sky Sports when asked how Ancelotti\u2019s appointment will impact his future.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe had a great time together at Real Madrid and he\u2019s an amazing person to have in charge of Real Madrid, I\u2019m sure he\u2019s going to be amazing.<\/p>\n
\u201cObviously I spoke to him when we played Everton at the start of the season. We hugged and had a little chat so it was nice.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I\u2019m still in the same boat. I haven\u2019t thought about it too much, I\u2019m concentrating on what\u2019s happening now, our preparation, what\u2019s going to happen in the Euros and I\u2019ll sort the rest out after.\u201d<\/p>\n
Although acknowledging his long-standing relationship with Ancelotti, the attacker insisted that his future plans are still to be decided.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt hasn\u2019t affected anything yet. Like I said, I haven\u2019t thought too much about, Obviously I know Carlo has returned and I get on really well with him and I\u2019m not denying that,\u201d Bale added.<\/p>\n
\u201cBut I\u2019m really just concentrated on now, I\u2019m not thinking about the future at all. I imagine I\u2019ll have a conversation with him at some point and I\u2019ll go from there when that happens.\u201d<\/p>\n
