Despite having undergone two previous surgeries, Eden Hazard’s ankle issues are still unresolved and the Real Madrid winger is now weighing up a third operation to end his ongoing pain although he\u2019s been warned a third operation on his ankle could spell the end of his career as a footballer.<\/p>\n
The Los Blancos winger has been plagued by injuries since he sealed a \u00a3150-million transfer from Chelsea in June 2019, and is currently bogged own by a muscle complaint which is believed to be linked to long-standing issues with his ankle. Hazard underwent surgery last March but reports from Spain claim he is still in pain and sees another operation as his only choice.<\/p>\n
The 30-year-old – who was also on the operating table in 2017 – is considering missing Belgium’s European Championship campaign in order to rectify the injury.<\/p>\n
But leading physician Dr Jose Gonzalez – who works for Los Blancos’ local rivals Atletico Madrid \u2013 is adamant that Hazard would be unwise to risk another surgery on his ankle.<\/p>\n
