There\u2019s only one thing that can stop Manchester City winning the Premier League now is themselves if they were to suddenly collapse for whatever inconceivable reason.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately for the Cityzens\u2019 rivals, any imminent collapse in the team\u2019s current form does not appear likely the way they have been progressing with their constant upsurge in form. If they are able to maintain their consistency, and there\u2019s no reason for not being able to do so, then it looks most likely on the cards that Pep Guardiola and his boys are well on the way to clinching another season end Premier League championship title.<\/p>\n
City endorsed their title challenge with Sunday’s emphatic 4-1 victory over defending champions Liverpool at Anfield with this being their 10th in a row in the league and it\u2019s difficult to see another team capable mustering up all it needs to pull off a similar winning run like that to challenge them.<\/p>\n
Based on this evidence alone, City do not look likely to crack either, regardless of whatever is thrown at them. Especially when one takes into serious contemplation that they have not only been coping without the services of Kevin de Bruyne for the past five games and Sergio Aguero for most of the season, in fact they have found a way to still keep the goals coming.<\/p>\n
On top of that, Gabriel Jesus has been sidelined too so there have been long spells where they haven’t had a recognised centre-forward available, but that doesn’t seem to have made any difference.<\/p>\n
Suffice it to say that Pep Guardiola’s side are still prevailing in all four major competitions which means their busy schedule in an already hugely demanding campaign is not going to ease up, but they have a strong squad that has been playing twice a week all season so it is nothing new to them.<\/p>\n
Not only are City on a record-equalling winning run as an English top-flight side of 14 games in all competitions, they are playing some fantastic football too.<\/p>\n
