After back-to-back defeats over four days, Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has given his verdict that Chelsea are not ready to win the Premier League, report the Daily Mail.<\/p>\n
Chelsea were previously mentioned in the inevitable title chatter, with Frank Lampard\u2019s Blues being one of the in-form teams in the division. However, the rumblings subsided after back-to-back defeats over a four day period to Everton and Wolves respectively, with the Blues crashing back down to terra firma from their brief sojourn in the rarefied stratosphere above.<\/p>\n
One character who is very well-acquainted with how to win the Premier League better than most is Paul Scholes, whose trophy cabinet is filled to the brim during a glittering career at Old Trafford. He is however not totally convinced this period that Chelsea are ready to win the Premier League with what the Blues have shown thus far.<\/p>\n
Scholes is quoted by the Daily Mail, saying:<\/p>\n
\u201cI just think there\u2019s a little bit a lack of creativity on the pitch. (N\u2019Golo) Kante does what he does brilliantly well and he\u2019s got two young players next to him in Mason Mount and Kai Havertz.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWho I think will be sensational players, but that\u2019s why I don\u2019t think they\u2019ll win the league this year. It\u2019s a bit early for them they\u2019ll be up there, close to Manchester City and Liverpool I just don\u2019t think they are that ready.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cBut in a year\u2019s time with a bit of experience, know-how bit more quality they\u2019ll be up there challenging.\u201d<\/p>\n
While this may have some semblance of truth, let\u2019s not too easily forget that the majority of Lampard\u2019s boys are young and relatively inexperienced in terms of challenging for the Premier League title. However, it\u2019s again too easy to judge their title chances in the wake of two back-to-back defeats as the best is quite llikely yet to come from this Chelsea squad.<\/p>\n
